Self defense.
So last Friday my roommates and I had our house broken into by a couple guys. They jumped my one roommate while my other roommate was in his room still. Well my roommate came out of his room and grabbed the one guy and beat him to the point you couldn’t recognize his face. The cops show up and take the report, but never arrested the guys who broke in. Now we’re getting threats because the one guy got beat up so bad. My opinion is if you break into someones house you deserve whatever you get out from it. What’s your opinion? Should my roommates have not done anything? What would you do if this happend to you?

Have the cops done anything yet?
No the cops aren’t doing anything because the one guy who broke in, his mom works at the courthouse!
I would have beat someone’s ass if they broke into my house!

hell yeah you have the right to use deadly force to defend your home, protect your family.

Hell yeah that asshole would have gotten worse from me. Did he go to the hospital? In Missouri you can use deadly force to protect your home. They did not break in to borrow a cup of sugar.
The only good is mother working in the courthouse will do is to get him an attorney or a lesser sentence. Filing charges takes time.
well we can use deadly force here too. And in this small of a town things tend to get thrown out from police mistakes when it involves someone who knows people.
